I test all the adults (over age 1) every 12-18 months for CAE/CL/Johnes via blood test. When my herd was small I would have my veterinarian perform all the blood draws and submit the samples. Now that I am testing over 10 goats each year (and growing), I learned to do my own blood draws and ship my samples to UBRL for processing. It’s a lot easier to do than you would think.
